Full-Contact Combat

HARD IMPACT.
REAL APPLICATION. NO BS.

Lama Boxing is the practical fighting method passed down by Grandmaster Chan Tai San and driven today by Sifu Steve Ventura. Long-range whipping strikes, heavy conditioning, sweeps, and San Da throws. No belt chasing, no fake fluff—just real work on the floor.

How We Fight

Three Core Elements

01 / Lineage

Real Transmission

Preserved directly from wartime survivor Chan Tai San. Kept sharp on the floor by Sifu Steve Ventura, who holds the line against outside talkers and keeps the standards high.

02 / Mechanics

Long-Range Power

Lama Pai uses fluid, whipping power—generating devastating torque through wheeling strike patterns like Gwa, Choy, and Sau that hit hard from unexpected angles.

03 / Application

San Da & Sparring

If you can’t make it work in sparring, it doesn't count. We pressure-test our strikes, leg catches, sweeps, and weapon sets so everything functions under stress.

On The Floor

Driven By Sifu Steve Ventura

Sifu Steve Ventura is the engine keeping the art alive and practical in New York City. Speaking directly in fluent Cantonese with Chan Tai San, Sifu Ventura bridges traditional lineage with raw fighting reality. From the historic 17th Street Loft days to today's tight training rooms, he pushes heavy conditioning, brutal application, and pure combat focus.
